About Mooresville, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Iredell County, Mooresville is a North Carolina town found within the Charlotte Metro Area. It is situated 25 miles north of Charlotte on Lake Norman, and as of 2010, the population was approaching 33,000 residents. This community is well known for being the home base for many NASCAR racing drivers and teams, earning it the city nickname of “Race City USA.” Also found in Mooresville are the Universal Technical Institute’s NASCAR Technical Institute as well as the headquarters for Lowe’s Companies.

Mooresville is home to a variety of great attractions that both residents and visitors will enjoy. Families with young children may enjoy trips to the Lazy 5 Ranch and Carrigan Farms. Auto and racing enthusiasts may enjoy visiting the Penske Racing South Facility, Memory Lane Museum, and the NC Auto Racing Hall of Fame. There are also a lot of great shopping destinations, including the Lake Normal Antique Mall.

Like the rest of the Charlotte area, Mooresville is part of a humid subtropical climate zone. It has four distinctive seasons, and much to the delight of area residents, winters tend to be short and cool. Daily average highs are 40 degrees, but there are nearly 60 nights per year in which the thermostat readings drop below freezing. While the season doesn’t last long, residents will need to have a home heating system in place in order to keep interior temperatures comfortable while also preventing the freezing of expensive pipe and plumbing work.

Summers in Mooresville tend to be hot and humid, with high temperatures averaging the upper 70s in July. Despite these comfortable temps, there are over 40 days per year in which thermostat readings will climb pass 90 degrees, and the muggy conditions of the area will make it feel even warmer. It is crucial that residents have access to an air conditioning unit at home to help them beat the heat when these stifling conditions roll into the area.
